3X3 UNITES is not just involved in the pracitical side of sports, we also initiated a study into the societal power of sports. We joined forces with partners such as the International Sports Alliance ISA, Sportsuniversity of Cologne, GAME Denmark and GAME Lebanon, and two years of work resulted in the '3X3 for Development' book. Studies show that 3X3 basketball has a lot to offer as a street sport, especially because youth organises the sport themselves. This way they can develop through sports. 3X3 for Development describes, from the DNA of 3X3, why this sport is ultimately so well suited to work with youth towards a variety of goals.
