About the talk

During this special Academy evening, DJ Danilo will guide you through the basics of DJing, including useful tips and how to build your first set.

This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to get started with the art of DJing. Whether you have a DJ controller collecting dust in your attic, are always in charge of the aux, or simply love music—this workshop is for you. You’ll also get the chance to DJ at our events, and we’ll be giving away a few spots to perform on the World Tour this summer!

During the workshop, we’ll cover the fundamentals of DJing to kickstart your DJ career. You’ll learn how to find and download music, the basics of mixing, how to build a set, and you’ll get to showcase your skills live with feedback and tips.

DJ Opportunities:
During the World Tour, there will be an outdoor DJ stage specifically for participants of this workshop, with 3 available slots. That means you could already be performing at a festival! We can also use DJs at our other events, so we’ll create a DJ pool with everyone who has completed the workshop.

Expect a fun and educational day/evening where you’ll learn how to take your first steps as a DJ.
