3X3 Unites Academy Returns in a Renewed Format

3X3 Unites proudly announces the relaunch of the 3X3 Unites Academy: an advanced program for young people who have completed the 3X3 Leader Course. The Academy is designed to give participants even more perspective and opportunities for growth, while guiding them in taking the next step in their personal development—whether that’s moving on to an internship, further education, or sustainable employment.

Through 3x3 basketball, 3X3 Unites empowers young people to develop their talents. One of the ways they do this is through the 3X3 Leader Course: an 8-week program where participants use 3x3 basketball as a tool to work on life skills such as community building, positive coaching, and leadership.
After completing the 3X3 Leader Course, participants receive an accredited certificate and are qualified to organize their own 3x3 activities and clinics. In recent years, 3X3 Unites has trained more than a thousand young leaders across the country. With the launch of the 3X3 Unites Academy, the organization is taking things a step further.
The goal of the Academy is to keep these young leaders engaged within the 3X3 Unites community while offering them additional perspective and growth opportunities—both personally and professionally. To achieve this, 3X3 Unites has developed an inspiring year-round program in collaboration with a wide range of partners.
Throughout the year, participants will take part in workshops, talks, and training sessions; attend several Get Togethers to track their progress; and build a strong network that connects 3X3 Leaders, 3X3 Unites, and more than thirty partner organizations, ranging from businesses to educational institutions and municipalities.
One of these partners is health insurer Zorg en Zekerheid, which is providing 100 laptops free of charge for the 3X3 Unites Academy. Participants will be able to use these laptops during workshops, giving them access to digital tools they might not otherwise have. The first ten participants to register will get to keep their laptop.
