3X3 Unites looks back on a successful Partner Event

In the final week of October, 3X3 Unites brought together many of its partners for the annual Partner Event. Founders Jesper Jobse and Mark Schuurman shared a glimpse into the organization’s 2026 vision, provided updates on social developments and future strategies, and treated guests to a unique three-course dining experience.

For 3X3 Unites, partners play a vital role. ‘Because our partners support our ambitions and dreams, and think along with us from their own strengths, we’re able to do what we do’, says Jesper. ‘We want to take them along on our journey, and in return, their ideas enrich our work.’

According to Mark, 3X3 Unites and its partners constantly challenge each other. ‘Together, we explore how to bring our partnerships to life and create sustainable impact, whether through local street activations or world-class sporting events. We’re on this exciting journey together.”

During the event, Jesper and Mark presented the 2026 event strategy. The 3X3 Street League will expand, the 3X3 PRO League will return, and teams will be able to qualify for the 3X3 World Tour & Women’s Series through the 3X3 PRO Cup, all taking place at Amsterdam’s NDSM Wharf.

3X3 Unites aims to make the 3X3 World Tour & Women’s Series even bigger, better, and more innovative in collaboration with its partners. This will give the Dutch Olympic champions (men) and world champions (women) the best possible stage, right here at home. A three-day 3X3 Festival will also be part of the event.

The Partner Event was hosted by EmbrAVe, one of 3X3 Unites’ loyal partners, specialized in 360 degrees Dome Experiences that immerse visitors in an audiovisual journey. During the dinner, partners were taken on the 3X3 Unites journey: from the streets to the top.

It was no coincidence that the dinner took place inside this unique dome. 3X3 Unites plans to use Dome Experiences for several activations during next year’s 3X3 World Tour & Women’s Series. ‘It was incredible to involve our partners in our story in such an immersive way’, says Jesper.

Mark also updated partners on the next phase of the 3X3 Unites Academy, a follow-up program for young people who have completed the 3X3 Leader Course. ‘This program offers young leaders even more perspective and growth opportunities, guiding them in the next steps of their development’, he explains.

He invited partners to help shape future workshops within the Academy. For instance, Dennis Franz from NXT Level Sports Nutrition recently led a session on entrepreneurship, growth, and mindset for 3X3 Unites youth. ‘Together with our partners, we can truly make an impact.’
