The 3x3 outdoor season kicks off!

The sun is shining, the days are getting longer, and that can only mean one thing: the 3X3 Unites outdoor season is back! From April 1, almost all activities move outside – right where 3x3 basketball belongs: on the courts in your neighborhood.

And this year is bigger than ever. With more activations than in previous years and new cities such as Lelystad, Leiden, and Vlissingen, we have over 70 activations in more than 24 cities this outdoor season. Whether you’re picking up a ball for the first time or have been playing for years – everyone can join. And the best part? All activities are free.

The outdoor season is all about playing, meeting new people, and growing. Join the pick-up games, work on your skills with basic exercises, or take your development further in the 3X3 Leader Course. As long as you’re having fun on the court! After all, what could be better than playing outside with your friends in your own city or neighborhood?

The outdoor season is also the perfect preparation for the 3x3 Street League: the most accessible 3x3 event in the Netherlands, held all across the country – from Groningen to Vlissingen, and from Amsterdam to Oss – in 21 districts and at 28 locations.

Teams can participate in the 3x3 Street League free of charge. The league is organized in weekly rounds for different categories. Each category plays on one day per weekend: on May 22, 23, and 24 (round 1), May 29, 30, and 31 (round 2), and June 5, 6, and 7 (round 3).

The winners of the 3x3 Street League in their city or neighborhood qualify for the finals. These will take place during the 3X3 Festival, in the weekend of June 19–21, at the iconic NDSM-Werf in Amsterdam.
