Third and fourth stop Pro League great success

The 3x3 Pro League is in full swing. During its third and fourth stops, the professional 3x3 competition, organised by 3X3 Unites and the Dutch Basketball Association, again visited two special venues: the Grote Markt in Haarlem and the Vunzige Deuntjes Festival in Amsterdam.
According to Daud Bwefar, project manager at 3X3 Unites and coordinator of the Pro League, they were two completely different events, but were both successful in their own way. Jesper Jobse, as co-founder of 3X3 Unites, fully agrees. 'We look back on two very successful events.'

It is very cool that we held the Pro League in Haarlem for the first time and were able to make a real social impact thanks to the cooperation with Triple ThreaT," says Jesper. 'Many young members of Triple ThreaT participated in the clinics and the youth tournament and were able to see the best 3x3 basketball players at work up close.'
Daud points to the good atmosphere on the Grote Markt all day. 'We had laid out the courts so that people on the terrace also had a good view of the courts,' he says. 'The youth present were enthusiastic and our own 3X3 Leaders made sure everything ran smoothly or things were arranged if needed.'
Last weekend, the Pro League touched down at the Vunzige Deuntjes Festival in Amsterdam. In cooperation with the festival itself and Bar le Duc, 3X3 Unites had laid down a 3x3 venue on the festival grounds. 'The DNA of the target group that comes to the Vunzige Deuntjes Festival matches our urban spots community,' says Jesper.
In between dancing, visitors stayed for a while to watch the Pro League. 'People come to dance, of course, but it was at times and busy around the field,' adds Daud. 'It is nice to see that through sports we are really adding something to the festival and we are pouring a different sauce over the whole thing with this.'
The Pro League continues on 19 July. That is when the 3x3 competition descends on Utrecht's Galgenwaard sports hall. A weekend later, on 27 July, the grand final will take place at the Hoekenrodeplein in Amsterdam.
