Toulouse Wins FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam Masters 2025

In a packed stadium with 3,000 spectators, Toulouse clinched the title at the World Tour Amsterdam Masters. The nail-biting final against Serbia’s Liman was a fitting end to a highly successful weekend. “It was spectacular until the very last moment,” said Jesper Jobse.

Earlier in the day, the tournament director had to swallow a slight disappointment. For the third consecutive year, Team Amsterdam—featuring players like Worthy de Jong—was eliminated in the quarterfinals. This time, Toulouse proved too strong. “That team includes several players from the French national team, whom the Netherlands defeated in the Olympic final in Paris. Now, they beat us in Amsterdam.”

It hardly dampened the spirits, as Jobse could only look back on the World Tour with a big smile. “The Dutch audience embraced 3x3 basketball instead of just supporting Team Amsterdam. That was really cool to see.”

For 3X3 Unites, the organizer of the 3x3 World Tour and 3x3 Women’s Series, it was the first time they organized the basketball event in conjunction with Urban Sports Week Amsterdam. Jobse remarked, “The collaboration truly surprised me in a positive way. You can see that everyone has immense passion for their sport, and many connections were made.”

Throughout the weekend, a remarkable number of children roamed the NDSM grounds, marveling at various sports—from freerunning to breaking, and from 3x3 basketball to skating, and much more. “All the sports have a strong following, and they came together beautifully. We’ve really been able to build new communities. Yes, it was truly awesome!”
