3X3 BASKETBALL COURTS

3X3 Unites is committed to bringing basketball back to the streets. In different cities, in collaboration with local partners, we are looking for places where there is already an active street basketball community or for places that have the potential to establish a good 3X3 community. We investigate the needs within a community. We also offer support in creating more structure within the community by training 3X3 Leaders. Together with these Leaders we look at what is needed to give the community a boost. A 3X3 basketball court is an example of this. Of course, this can also be a basketball court on which 3X3 can be played.

A 3X3 BASKETBALL COURT FOR EVERY COMMUNITY

One of the most important pillars within 3X3 Unites is good hardware. We believe that a good and well maintained basketball court encourages and motivates people to play 3X3 Basketball. Our mission is to convince municipalities and other stakeholders of the added value of good basketball facilities such as a basketball court. Together with our product partners we strive to give every community its own 'home' where it can be played with high frequency and pride, preferably on beautiful 3X3 basketball courts.

WHAT MAKES A 3X3 BASKETBALL COURT UNIQUE?

The sport of 3X3 basketball is different from traditional basketball. As the name implies, 3X3 basketball is played with three versus three players instead of five versus five. Not only the number of players, but also the rules and the basketball courts are different. A 3X3 basketball court is a lot smaller and games are played on half a basketball court. In addition, on a 3X3 basketball court you will find only one basket instead of two.
